OBJECTIVES
To promote precision scale modelling of horsedrawn
vehicles and related items as a non-commercial hobby by means of
construction from scratch and staging exhibitions.
MEMBERSHIP
a) Admission Open to all persons on;
i)
having submitted a properly completed application form in which
the intending Member agrees to abide by these rules and any
related Code(s) of Practice.
ii)
being accepted by the Committee.
iii)
having paid their annual subscription.
b)
Types of Member
i)
Ordinary Member - for persons who have constructed models to
a good standard and expressed the intention to show them at
several of the exhibitions staged by the Guild each year. A
member of the family of a deceased Ordinary Member may be
included at the discretion of the Committee.
ii)
Associate Member - for persons with an interest in the
activities of the Guild but not satisfying the requirements for
Ordinary Membership. The spouse of an Ordinary member is
automatically an Associate member, other family members may
be included at the discretion of the Committee
c) Subscription - annual, due on 1st January
Ordinary and Associate members ———— £10
Overseas members ———— £10
Honorary and Family members exempt.
d) Termination of Membership.
The Committee may terminate membership for any person who
is in arrears of subscription or who, in its opinion, has behaved
in a manner unworthy of Guild membership.
When membership ceases, for any reason, all Guild property
shall be returned to the Treasurer.
I agree to abide by the rules of the Guild, allow the Guild to keep
details of my membership on a computer and circulate these details to
other members in the form of an address list.
